Maya Angelou tea towel

Maya Angelou tea towel

Maya Angelou (1928 - 2014) was an American author, poet, dancer, actress, and singer. She was active in the Civil Rights movement, and worked with Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X. One of her most well-known and popular poems, "Still I Rise", is found in her volume of poetry of the same name. She speaks for her race and gender in many of the poems, and emphasizes the strength and resiliency of her community.

Half Panama unbleached cotton (heavy weight, textured finish). Stitched on all four sides. Includes hanging loop. Measures approximately 48 x 75cm. Machine wash at 40 degrees max. We recommend that before you use your tea towel for the first time you wash it at least once to soften up the material and make it more absorbent for drying dishes. Please note size can vary slightly.
