This mask is inspired by William Morris's iconic 'Cherwell' textile design. Many of Morris's designs, like this one, were named after rivers whose attendant foliage had fascinated him.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) says face masks should be worn in public where social distancing is not possible to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
It is essential that wearers of cloth face masks still observe social distancing and wash their hands regularly, and cloth masks cannot guarantee protection for the wearer.
Please note: this is NOT a medical grade surgical or N95 face mask, so purchase of this mask will not reduce the supply of medical masks which should be prioritised for health workers.

This colourful fabric face mask is made with 3 pleated layers of 200 gsm cotton and measures approx 21.5cm x 13.5cm (8.5 x 5.3 inches). The middle layer is made of a close woven blue fabric with hydrophobic and antibacterial finish. Digital printing on high quality, natural fabric using reactive inks, means it will not only have excellent wash fastness and colour vibrancy but also the inks conform to relevant standards meaning there are no harmful chemicals being breathed in. The mask is attached with 2 elastic loops measuring 25 x 0.8cm (9.8 x 0.3 in) which fit round the ears and which may be adjusted using the 2 toggles, allowing for flexibility and comfort. Also comes with a flexible metal nose piece for a close fit. (Please avoid repetitive bending of the nosepiece.) Machine or hand wash at 100-140º after each use using detergent to kill any virus. Short spin. Dry naturally, preferably in direct sunlight. As this is a personal hygiene product, we cannot accept returns.
