This image is taken from a 1911 Christmas card design by Hilda Dallas (1878-1958), a member of the Women's Social and Political Union and a student at the Slade School of Art from 1910-1911. The design uses the British Suffragette colours of purple, green and white and portrays a feminine-looking Santa finding the ideal Christmas present of 'votes for women' in her bag.
Pack of 8 cards, with matching envelopes made of recycled paper. The cards are printed on FSC certified board which is manufactured from fibre sourced from sustainably managed Swedish forests, the most environmentally friendly option available (we don't use recycled board because that has to be bleached with harmful chemicals). The cards measure approx 4.1in x 5.8in (A6) and envelopes measure approx 6.4in x 4.5in (C6). Message inside: Seasons Greetings.
