Joan of Arc Suffragette Christmas cards pack of 8

Joan of Arc Suffragette Christmas cards pack of 8

The image on these Christmas cards is based on a 1909 poster to advertise The Suffragette, the official newspaper of the Women’s Social and Political Union (which had split from the National Union of Women’s Suffrage Societies in 1903 in order to pursue more militant tactics). The poster was designed by Hilda Dallas (1878-1958) using the British Suffragette colours of purple, green and white and portrays the figure of Joan of Arc as a women’s suffrage campaigner. 8 cards with coloured envelopes.

Pack of 8 cards, with matching envelopes made of recycled paper. The cards are printed on FSC certified board which is manufactured from fibre sourced from sustainably managed Swedish forests, the most environmentally friendly option available (we don't use recycled board because that has to be bleached with harmful chemicals). The cards measure approx 4.1in x 5.8in (A6) and envelopes measure approx 6.4in x 4.5in (C6). Message inside: Seasons Greetings.
